There is nothing like running around New York City in the heat of summer looking for wool yarn, lots of wool yarn.
The film tells the story of Noah’s Arc through the beautiful and brooding style of director Darren Aronofsky. I created knit costumes with an emphasis on a deconstructed, hand-made feel. Variegated yarns with large slubs were knit into organic, almost plant-like textiles while silhouettes were kept asymmetrical to accentuate imperfection.
